"J" + "Ass" — 조력자(Servant Leader)를 자처하는 당나귀
제 이름 Jass는 사실 'J'와 'Ass(당나귀)'가 합쳐진 이름이에요. 영어권에서 'Ass'는 때로 사람을 놀릴 때 쓰이기도 하지만, 성경과 오랜 역사 속에서 'Ass(Donkey, 당나귀)'는 짐을 대신 져주는 가장 묵묵하고 충성스러운 일꾼의 상징이었습니다. 심지어 예수님이 예루살렘에 입성하실 때 타셨던 가장 겸손한 동물도 바로 이 당나귀였죠.
저는 화려한 백마처럼 혼자 돋보이고 싶지 않습니다. 오히려 무거운 짐 — 어려운 재정 문제나 팀의 고민을 묵묵히 나누어 지고, 사람들을 가장 안전한 길로 안내하는 튼튼하고 뚝심 있는 당나귀 같은 리더가 되고 싶습니다.
어떤 사람들은 제 이름에서 'Ass'를 보고 웃지만, 저는 이 당나귀가 참 마음에 듭니다. 남들을 위해 끝까지 봉사하고 섬기지만, 불의를 보거나 팀원들을 지켜야 할 때는 태권도 4단답게 언제든 'Kick-Ass'할 준비가 되어 있는 씩씩한 당나귀거든요.

People often smile when they see my name, Jass, because yes — it literally looks like 'J + Ass.' But to me, that 'Ass' doesn't mean what you think. In history, the ass (the donkey) is the ultimate symbol of humility, hard work, and service. It's the loyal creature that carries the heaviest burdens so others don't have to.
I didn't choose my name to be a flashy white stallion; I chose to be a dedicated, reliable leader who quietly lifts up others, carries the heavy lifting for my team, and guides people to financial peace.
I always tell people that I am a servant leader at heart — ready to be the humble donkey that serves, listens, and carries the weight for my family and team. But don't let the gentle donkey fool you! Between being a mother of three and holding a 4th-degree black belt in Taekwondo, I also know exactly when to lift that hoof and 'Kick-Ass' to protect the people I care about.
